Indians, ’Climbers sweep in bowling

The Mechanicsburg girls bowling team beat Greenon, 2,461-2,331, in OHC action. The Indians were led by Ashton Waller, who rolled a 374 with games of 200 and 174.

Also for Mechanicsburg (10-1, 5-0), Hannah Dingledine had a 170, 168 for a 338, Gwen Westfall a 194, 140 for a 334, Taylor Rausch a 160, 157 for a 317 and Faith Ford a 181, 150 for a 331.

The Mechanicsburg jayvee girls also won. Standouts were Peyton Groves, who rolled a 320 with games of 134 and 186 and Sarah Hoover, who rolled a 267 with games of 121 and 146.

The Mechanicsburg boys team prevailed, 2,761-2,468.

For the Indians (9-3, 6-0), Christopher Ritchie rolled a 218-196 414, Jordan Sadowski a 220-192 412, Jacob Brumfield a 152-235 387 and Wyatt Cordell a 190-193 383.

UHS sweeps

Urbana defeated Ben Logan, 2,894-2,697, in CBC boys bowling.

For UHS (12-4, 12-4), Kohldon Belt had a 246-259 505, Aydan Reisinger a 203-217 420, Kaz Scott a 189-230 419 and Draden Belt a 169-233 402.

Urbana’s girls team won, 2,412-2,201.

For the Hillclimbers (15-1, 15-1), Riley Smith had a 217-277 494, Jazmyn Scott a 188-156 344, Maya Stokes a 187-125 312 and Emily Fisher a 138-170 308.
