Mechanicsburg girls place 2nd at state

COLUMBUS – The Mechanicsburg girls bowling team placed second in the Division II state girls bowling tournament on Saturday.

Kenton Ridge claimed the state title.

For the Indians, Faith Ford was 17th overall with a 552 series, Gwen Westfall was 18th with a 547, Hannah Dingledine had a 525 and Kendall Rausch had a 489.

Graham placed 13th as a team and Urbana was 15th.

For the Hillclimbers, Jazmyn Scott was 20th overall with a 546 and for Graham, Mackenzie Clark was 52nd with a 498.

Ritchie places 8th

COLUMBUS – Mechanicsburg’s Chris Ritchie rolled a 206-266-189 661 to place eighth at the Division II state boys bowling tournament on Friday.

Ritchie earned second-team All-Ohio honors.

Ritchie’s teammate, Aaron Adams, rolled a 508 series to place 75th.
