The 2nd Annual Bowling for a Purpose in Memory of Shannon Rodgers, hosted by Breast Friends Forever of Champaign County, will be held at Southwest Bowling Center, 826 Scioto Street, Urbana on March 2 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. and 4:30-9:30 p.m.

The event is dedicated to one of our Champaign County “Forever Friends” Shannon Rodgers, who passed away in March of 2023 from breast cancer. Shannon became a member of BFF of CC after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was a strong lady, an avid bowler, and a great supporter of Champaign County. She passed away right before our first Bowling for a Purpose. This year and many more to come we will make this a memorial to Shannon due to her love for this community, bowling, friends and family. God bless her and her wonderful family. All proceeds will be for Breast Friends Forever of Champaign County to further our mission and goals for 2024.

After an overwhelming response to this year’s “Bowling for a Purpose” event, we have added an extra time frame to bowl and support our organization. The evening session is at full capacity. The new session will be from 1-3:30 p.m. with check-in at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $55/team (cash or check); $60/team using credit card. The Paypal link to pay by credit card is: paypal.me/bffofcc.
