On Sunday, 21 January 2024, 2-3 p.m., forty Champaign County Right to Life members and supporters assembled on Monument Square, Urbana, for a Witness to born and unborn infant life, and its protection. They carried signs saying “Pray for Life,” “Don’t Abort Me,” “Children Are God’s Gift,” “Abortion Destroys Lives,” and braved the 33-degree cold. The response from motorists was overwhelmingly positive, despite a handful excoriating the Witness.

The latest abortion figures for the County are 22 deaths, which is very high when one considers what talents these children had to offer to the community. and the 70% regret rate among women who have aborted their babies.

Among the clergy who witnessed was Fr. Jacob Lindle from St. Mary’s church in Urbana.

Champaign County Right to Life (122 Miami St., West Front) urges members of our community to join it, by e-mailing [email protected] or phoning 937 653-6745.

CCRTL offers advice and financial support for women considering abortion. Also, of course, the recent placement of abortion as an Ohio State Constitutional right must be reversed this year.

For Life,

David George & members, CCRTL
