Pictured is a bald eagle perched in a budding tree near Kiser Lake earlier this week. The bald eagle population is growing in Champaign County with multiple nest locations in various areas near sources of water, such as Kiser Lake and Mad River. The nests are identified by bird watchers and photographers alike.
