Congratulations to the Breast Friends Forever of Champaign County, One-Stop-Shopping “Pamper for a Purpose” Valentine’s Day Basket winners.
Winners were: Coral Lanes Bowling Center, Tristan Henry; Southwest Bowling Center, Dean Edwards and Goshen Lanes, Monica Schaffner. Pictured with the winners are Linda Lensman and Kristyn Campbell, BFF of CC committee members and breast cancer survivors.
Many local businesses, local cancer survivors, and the Champaign County bowling community joined with Breast Friends Forever of Champaign County to raise needed funds to implement their mission: To educate, empower, encourage and embrace people who reside or work in Champaign County who are at risk for breast cancer and provide services to breast cancer patients in need.
The three bowling centers located in Champaign County: Bob and Bonnie Williams of Coral Lanes of St. Paris, John and Bobby Jo Ritchie of Southwest Bowling of Urbana, and Matt Mayberry of Goshen Lanes of Mechanicsburg, with their generous house bowling leagues all joined together to support this non-profit valuable community organization.
The next Breast Friends Forever of Champaign County fundraiser is The First Annual “Bowling for a Purpose,” a 9 Pin, No Tap Family Fun Night at the Southwest Bowling Center, 826 Scioto St. Urbana, on April 29.
