ST. PARIS – The St. Paris Public Library is excited to announce the opening of a Little Seed Library! This will be housed in the library and available year-round during regular library hours.
To kick off the grand opening of the St. Paris Little Seed Library, the St. Paris Library with help from the Champaign County Master Gardener Volunteers will be hosting a seed swap on March 20, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to everyone; to attend please register by calling 937-663-4349 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
After the Seed Swap, the Little Seed Library will be stocked and ready! “Borrow” your seeds by checking them out. Take them home, plant them, and watch them grow! In the fall, allow the plants to go to seed and share some of those seeds back to the Seed Library.
If you would like to help out with the library’s seed swap, just come to the library and pick up an envelope or two to put all your leftover seeds or store-bought seeds into.
Bring the envelope back into the library by March 10 so that the library staff can get everything organized for the Seed Swap on March 20. Seed donations will be accepted year-round; simply bring them to the front desk or request an envelope.
