MECHANICBURG – Madison Lim and Olivia Skillings each scored 18 points as Mechanicsburg beat Triad, 67-19, in OHC girls basketball on Saturday.

For Triad (2-15, 1-11), Abbey Overfield had 7 points and Kaley Nott added 6.

Mechanicsburg won the jayvee game, 39-4.

On Wednesday, the Indians (14-3, 11-1) play at Fairbanks (17-2, 12-1) in an OHC North showdown while the Cardinals play at Northeastern.

UHS prevails

BELLEFONTAINE – Peyton Mounce scored 16 points as Urbana defeated Ben Logan, 44-31, in CBC/MRD girls basketball on Saturday.

The Hillclimbers led, 24-16, at the half.

For UHS (12-5, 6-2), Alex Dixon had 11 points and Lyza Forson added 8.

Urbana hosts Northwestern Wednesday night.

WL-S wins

SPRINGFIELD – Megan Hollar scored a game-high 12 points as WL-S beat Northeastern, 45-11, in OHC girls basketball on Saturday.

WL-S led, 23-9, at the half.

For the Tigers (11-6, 9-3), Lilly Weaver had 11 points.

WL-S won the jayvee game, 34-14. For the Tigers, Laila Butler had 14 points.
