UHS holds off Graham in boys hoops

ST. PARIS – Urbana held off Graham, 50-47, in CBC/MRD boys basketball Friday night.

The victory was the 250th for UHS Coach Jeremy Dixon (see accompanying story).

Urbana led, 28-26, at the half.

For the Hillclimbers, Will Donahoe had 16 points and Rayvon Rogan added 13 points and 9 rebounds.

Tonight, Urbana (10-3, 4-1) hosts London and Graham (5-8, 3-2) hosts Bellefontaine.

WL-S falls

WEST LIBERTY – Cedarville beat West Liberty-Salem, 54-40, in OHC boys basketball Friday night.

Cedarville led, 27-23, at the half.

For the Tigers (8-5, 6-3), Matt Jones had 20 points and Taran Logwood added 11.

Cedarville won the jayvee game, 42-30. For the Tigers, JJ Johnson had 12 points and Isaiah Reames added 9.

Cedarville won the 9th grade game, 24-20. For the Tigers, Dylan King had 7 points.

WL-S plays at Springfield Catholic Central tonight.

Indians lose

MECHANICSBURG – Greeneview upended Mechanicsburg, 91-39, in OHC boys basketball Friday night.

The Indians trailed, 55-22, at the half.

Mechanicsburg (0-14, 0-9) plays at Southeastern tonight.

Triad falls

NORTH LEWISBURG – Springfield Catholic Central upended Triad, 62-35, in OHC boys basketball Friday night.

The Cardinals trailed, 26-9, at the half.

Triad (2-11, 2-7) plays at Madison Plains tonight.
