Triad’s Awesom Mitchell sores a takedown at the Triad Invitiational on Saturday. Mitchell claimed the title at 175 pounds.

NORTH LEWISBURG – Triad placed sixth and WL-S was seventh at the 17-team Triad Wrestling Invitational on Saturday.
In addition, Urbana placed 11th.
Elgin won the tournament and Upper Arlington was second.
For Triad, Awesom Mitchell claimed the title at 175 pounds and for WL-S, Jacob Griffth won the crown at 132.
For UHS, Layne Settle placed second at 144 and Max Tucker was second at 165.
JH wrestling
The Graham junior high wrestling team won the Heart of Ohio Invite with 229 points.
Champions for Graham included Cooper Breslin (80 pounds), Blaine Demarco (122), Jakob Hoke (128), Cole Winemiller (134), Kyler Crooks (142) and Logan Souders (150).
