On Thursday at approximately 8:16 a.m., the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Police Division, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Clark County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 400 East Dallas Road in Urbana Township.
Michael D. Ropp 43, of Urbana was taken into custody and charged with the following felony charges: F-1 aggravated trafficking, F-2 aggravated possession of drugs, F-3 weapons under disability (stemming from a previous indictment out of Greene County for felonious assault), F-3 tampering with evidence and F-5 unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance.
According to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office, further information will be released when it is available.
