The Urbana Water Division issued the following notices concerning work that will impact drivers and residents.

Bloomfield Avenue and Logan Street

The Urbana Water Division will be closing the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Logan Street on Wednesday, April 20, due to an excavation. The intersection is anticipated to be closed 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in all directions. Work is weather-dependent.

East Ward and Sycamore streets

The Urbana Water Division will work on the water mains at the intersection of East Ward Street and Sycamore Street on Thursday, April 21. Due to this construction/excavation, the intersection will be closed 7 a.m.-7 p.m. that day. Residents within the 400 and 500 blocks of East Ward, up to and including 568 E. Ward St., will be without water service during these repairs. These residents will be under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice once these repairs have been completed. All impacted residents will receive notification by door hanger before the advisory and once the advisory has been lifted.
