

ST. PARIS – Graham beat Indian Lake 9-7 in Central Buckeye Conference/Mad River Division softball on Monday.
Graham scored three runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to pull out the victory.
For GHS, Allie Neeld went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBI, including a two-run walk-off double in the 8th, Melany Robbins was 1-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI, Mallory Roberts was 2-for-5 with an RBI and Madison Bryant was 2-for-5 with an RBI. Bryant also got the win, striking out 6 batters.
“The defense played well, it was a good win,” Graham Coach Ralph Foster said.
Graham plays at Indian Lake on Tuesday.
Graham falls in baseball
ST. PARIS – Indian Lake defeated Graham, 11-1, in CBC/MRD baseball on Monday.
Allen St. Myers had 2 hits for the Falcons.
Hillclimbers top Knights
Urbana defeated visiting Greenon 4-2 in Central Buckeye Conference/Mad River Division baseball on Monday.
For Urbana, Caleb Peterson was 1-for-2 with an RBI and Reid Taylor was 2-for-2. Peterson also threw a complete game on the mound, striking out 8 batters.
The Hillclimbers and Knights will play again at Greenon on Tuesday.
Indians sweep in softball
Mechanicsburg beat Ridgemont 1-0 and 6-0 in non-league softball on Saturday.
In the first game for the Indians, Elysha Stapleton had a double and an RBI and struck out 14 batters.
In the second game, Mary Mayo had a double and an RBI, Stapleton was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and 4 RBI and Allie Raber had a double and an RBI.
