4-H clubs get ready for ‘Magic at the Fair’

The first meeting of the Cut-Ups and Carpenters 4-H Club was Feb. 20 at the home of their advisors, Greg and Marcia Ward. Twelve members were present and five guests. Alison Setty, president for 2015, led the 4-H pledge and took roll call. New business was the election of officers for 2016: President – Anders Setty; V-Pres – Aislen Setty; Secretary – Breah Weislak; Treasurer – Stacia Weislak; News Reporter – Teagan Setty; Community Service – Alison Setty; Recreation – Dena Wilson and Gillian Setty; Health and Safety – Marissa Pine and Noah Baker. A pancake/sausage breakfast was held after elections. The club will be selling 4-H buttons at Studebaker’s “on the hill” in June. The theme of this year’s fair is “175 Years of Magic at the Fair.”
