Fresh, mouth-watering fish and shrimp dinners are still the main menu attractions of the Ohio Fish & Shrimp Festival. And, they’ll be joined at the 14th annual festival, Sept. 18-20, just north of Urbana, by a larger selection of food and beverages to enjoy – along with three days of music on the outdoor stage and activities for the family.
Festival host Freshwater Farms of Ohio, 2624 N. U.S. Route 68, will again have a food booth that features trout, shrimp and other seafood dinners, along with the Seafood Express booth, which will offer jambalaya, sandwiches, fish and chips, and beignet pastries (Sunday only).
Charlie’s Bar, named for the festival’s pirate mascot, returns with a selection of craft beers, Ohio wines, and margaritas. New features this year will be a frozen beverage station and Rhinegeist beer from Cincinnati.
Several new and returning food vendors will offer guests even more choices. These include Big Bamboo’s Dockside Grill of Celina, Shrimp Lips Seafood of Columbus, Hot Diggity Doggers and More food truck of Belle Center, Oakview Farm Meats of Urbana, Nanette’s Country Kitchen of St. Paris, My Little Cupcakes & More of West Liberty, Raging Bull Wood Fired Pizza of Urbana and Rollin’ Smoke of Dayton.
