Time is now for Bengals to win

The window may be closing on the Cincinnati Bengals, who will have nearly two dozen unrestricted free agents after this season.

Cincy has advanced to the playoffs the past four seasons and has failed to win even one of those post-season games.

A total of 29 Bengals’ players will be entering the final year of their contracts this season, including 23 who can become unrestricted free agents.

In other words, it’s time to finally make a move in the playoffs this season since the future is very uncertain.

The 2016 Bengals could look drastically different than the 2015 version, and not for the better.

The Cleveland Browns were wise to give former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor a chance to make their squad as a wide receiver.

As OSU fans can attest, Pryor is an amazing athlete, although his abilities as a QB haven’t quite translated to the pro game.

The Bengals had Pryor in camp in the spring as a potential backup quarterback, and they may be sorry they didn’t give Pryor a chance at receiver.

Ohio State will be at a disadvantage on Labor Day night when it plays at Virginia Tech considering four OSU standout players have been suspended for the game, including All-American defensive end Joey Bosa.

It used to be that the worst thing an athlete could do was let down his or her teammates, but these days, no one seems to care about that.

Trivia Time – NFL Films was originally called Blair Motion Pictures when it was founded by Ed Sabol in 1962.

This week’s question – Which team selected Terrelle Pryor in the 2011 Supplemental Draft?
