The Cancer Association of Champaign County is providing cancer patient care packages to county residents battling cancer. For $21, sponsor a care package for a local resident, in honor or in memory of a loved one. Each package contains a fleece throw, puzzle book, pair of socks, antibacterial wipes, lotion, bandanas, hand sanitizer, gum, mints, lip balm, tissues, lemon drops, a notebook and pen, and chocolate. Make checks payable to Cancer Association of Champaign County and write “care package” in the memo. Checks may be sent to P.O. Box 38125, Urbana, OH 43078.
