YMCA/Mechanicsburg Preschool starts next month

The Champaign Family YMCA’s half-day preschool program in Mechanicsburg begins Aug. 31 at M’burg Christian Fellowship Church, 4401 Allison Road. Hours are 9-11:30 a.m. weekdays. Parents may opt for two, three or five days a week. Children must be ages 3-5 and potty trained. Children can socialize, learn to compromise, be respectful of others, problem solve, gain a sense of self, explore, play with peers and build confidence. Registration and orientation will be 9-11 a.m. Aug. 18 and 5-7 p.m. Aug. 20 at the church. For more info, call Y Child Care Services Director Sonya Stonerock, 937-484-3557.
