The Urbana Wins Team is not following the ordinance regarding the 30-day rule for temporary signs. Looking into this matter, political signs fall under “temporary” signs and they are still required to conform to all other regulations under ordinance 1137.09. I think it is too bad these candidates have decided to junk-up Urbana for 3 months prior to the election. The city should remove these signs since they have been out past 30 days. It is nice to see most other candidates doing the right thing by waiting until an appropriate date to put their signs up.
