WEST LIBERTY – After 40 years of service, West Liberty Fire Chief Conrad Hostetler is retiring.

The Champaign County Fire Chiefs Association recognized Hostetler this week for his commitment and service to both Champaign and Logan counties.

Darin Leach will become West Liberty’s new fire chief.
