Shriners donate to Shriners Hospitals for Children

Each year the Champaign County Shrine Club donates to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. At a recent meeting, the club presented $30,000. The majority of these funds come from the aluminum cans that residents drop off at collection points all over the county. Shriners expressed appreciation to residents whose cans make donations to hospitals possible. From left are Ill. Sir Dave Heizer, Potentate of Antioch Shrine; Noble Steve Runkle, club president; and Noble Jerry Jameson, Antioch’s Recorder.
