UHS prevails
SPRINGFIELD – Urbana knocked off Northwestern, 65-28, in CBC/MRD boys basketball Friday night.
The Hillclimbers led, 46-14, at the half.
For Urbana, Jonathan Hildebrand had 15 points, Drake Dixon had 15 points and Will Donahoe added 14 points and 7 assists.
UHS (11-4, 5-1), which is now tied with Indian Lake for first place in the MRD, plays at Kenton Ridge tonight.
Graham goes 1-1
ST. PARIS – Graham defeated Indian Lake, 40-34, in CBC/MRD boys basketball Friday night.
The Falcons led, 23-12, at the half.
On Saturday, visiting Fort Recovery rallied to beat Graham, 53-44, in non-league action.

WL-S goes 0-2
WEST LIBERTY – Madison Plains nipped West Liberty-Salem, 60-58, in OHC boys basketball Friday night.
For the Tigers (8-7, 6-5), Taran Logwood had 21 points, Matt Jones had 13 and Brevin Louden added 11.
Madison Plains won the jayvee game, 41-30. For the Tigers, Caleb Hershberger had 10 points.
WL-S won the 9th grade game, 29-11. For the Tigers, Garrett Wallen had 13 points.
On Saturday, visiting Anna rallied to beat WL-S, 44-36, in non-league action.
WL-S led, 18-17, at the half.
For the Tigers (8-8), Logwood had 13 points.
Anna won the jayvee game, 51-30. For WL-S, Owen Deere had 6 points.

The home team trailed, 47-17, at the half.
For Mechanicsburg, Keegan Freeze had 12 points and Brennin Eyink added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
