CLAYTON – Taran Logwood scored a team-high 20 points as West Liberty-Salem rallied to defeat Greenon, 60-55, in the Division III boys basketball sectional.
WL-S trailed, 25-24, at the half.
For the Tigers (13-10), Miles Hostetler had 18 points, Brevin Louden had 10 and Matthew Jones added 8.
WL-S advances to play Preble Shawnee here at Northmont High School on Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
Division II
Urbana and Graham both play in the Division II boys basketball sectional at Springfield High School today.
The Hillclimbers play Kenton Ridge at 11 a.m. and the Falcons play Meadowdale at 1 p.m.
Wrestling
West Liberty-Salem beat visiting Madison Plains, 34-18, on senior night in OHC action.
Earning wins in contested matches for the Tigers were Jacob Griffith (132), Max Rudolph (138), Matthew Christison (150) and Wylie Harbour (285).
Graham hosts the CBC wrestling tournament today beginning at 10 a.m.
