BEAVERCREEK – Graham and West Liberty-Salem’s boys from Team Champ swam in the recent Southwest District sectional at the Dayton Raiders Aquatic Center (DRAC).
Qualifying for the Southwest District Championships, which will be held at Miami University on Thursday, were Graham’s Jack Boggs in the 50 Freestyle in a time of 24.48 (7th place) and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Boggs, Caleb Owens, Braden Bost and Thomas Neff in a school record time of 3:57.90 (2nd).
No girls from WL-S or Graham qualified for the district meet.
The Mechanicsburg girls team swam in the Central/East/Southeast District sectional at the Columbus School for Girls in Bexley.
Qualifying for the Central District Championships, which will be held at The Ohio State University on Thursday, was Alekah Daniels in the 50 Freestyle with a school record time of 25.29 (2nd place) and in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 55.86 (3rd).
For the Urbana boys, Nolan Rickett was also a district qualifier.
No other results were reported.
