Indians split with Falcons in bowling

The Mechanicsburg girls bowling team defeated Graham, 2,547-2,318, in non-league action. The Indians were led by Faith Ford, who rolled a 437 with games of 225 and 212.

Also for Mechanicsburg (14-1), Hannah Dingledine had a 200, 207 for a 407, Ashton Waller a 158, 191 for a 349, Taylor Rausch a 178, 149 for a 327, Kendall Rausch a 174 and Gwen Westfall a 172.

Unbeaten Graham won the boys match, 2,733-2,397. The Indians (11-5) were led by Jordan Sadowski with a 391 on games of 167 and 224 and Jacob Brumfield with games of 167 and 201 for a 368.

Mechanicsburg’s jayvee boys were led by Eli Freeze with 176, 159 for a 335.

The Mechanicsburg jayvee girls won, 1,752-1,537. For the Indians, Sarah Beattie had a 319 with games of 190 and 129 and Peyton Groves had a 241 with games of 108 and 133.

JH basketball

In the semifinals of the OHC 7th grade boys tournament, WL-S defeated Triad, 52-30. For the Tigers (17-0), Beckett Sullivan had 20 points and Asher Cole and Zade Beileski each added 9.

Urbana’s 8th grade boys lost to Indian Lake, 30-29. For UJHS, Grady Lantz had 11 points.

The Urbana 7th grade boys lost, 38-33. For UJHS, Drew Dixon had 10 points.
