HAMILTON, Ohio – Seven local students and seven adult leaders will be recognized at the 11th “Heroes of Character” Celebration on April 18 at the Champion Mill Conference Center at the newly-opened Spooky Nook Sports Center in Hamilton.

The event is hosted by the Character Council of Greater Cincinnati in collaboration with the Hamilton “City of Character.” Both groups strengthen individuals and enrich the spirit of the community by promoting and encouraging good character.

New in 2023, a special “Pillar of Character” award will be presented to Kim and Bonnie Nuxhall for their achievements and lifetime of service to the community.

Urbana High School’s Jonathan Hildebrand is a 2023 Student Hero finalist.

The celebration will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. and will include a reception, dinner and program.
