SPRINGFIELD – Chaley Wade scored 15 points as West Liberty-Salem beat Springfield Catholic Central, 47-40, in OHC girls basketball.
For the Tigers (9-6, 7-3), Lilly Weaver had 10 points and Bailey Poppe added 8.
WL-S plays at Triad on Thursday.

The Urbana 7th grade girls lost to Shawnee, 16-6. Isla Wooten led UJHS with 4 points.
The Urbana 8th grade girls won, 39-25. For UJHS (12-1), Janaya Scott had 10 points and Addi Hegyi added 9.
The WL-S 7th grade boys defeated Mechanicsburg, 47-23. For the Tigers (10-0), Asher Cole had 12 points, Zeke Longshore had 11 points and Liam Barger added 9.
The WL-S 7th grade girls downed Mechanicsburg, 23-6. For the Tigers, Arianna Weaver had 11 points and Isla Leichty added 6.
Mechanicsburg did not report stats.
