Louise Walter, formerly of Urbana, daughter of Daniel and Cheryl Walter of Urbana, and Eric Winnard were married May 27 in an outside ceremony in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Durham, North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Robert and the late Jackie Winnard of Tallahassee, Florida. Mrs. Winnard is the daughter of Franciska Brand of Jacksonville, Florida.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Winnard are graduates of Duke University. She is in her third and final year at Georgetown Law School, and he is in the real estate business in Baltimore, Maryland. They are currently making honeymoon plans.
