Champaign County Republican Women’s Club met on March 30. The club is affiliated with the Ohio Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.

The new club president, Kathy DeWeese, opened the meeting with a pledge to the American Flag and prayer for the leaders of our country. After a short business meeting covering the treasure report, a summary of the Silent Auction results from the recent Lincoln Day Dinner and committee updates, Kathy introduced our guest speaker, Becky Engle, our representative to the State Central Committee. Ms. Engle spoke about the differences between Democratic and Republican women in the news during the election (and even now). She reminded us that March was “Women’s History Month.” We had one new member join the CCRWC this month – welcome Jackie! We passed out pink elephant pins to everyone in attendance and refreshments were enjoyed by members after the meeting for a short social time.
