



WILMINGTON – All but one of the Graham Falcons found their way into the semifinals of the Division II southwest district wrestling tournament on Friday.
Tanner Jordan (106 pounds), Dawson Show (113), Jordan Crace (120), Jeffrey Thomas (126), Mitch Moore (132), J.D. Stickley (138), Joey Sanchez (145), Rocky Jordan (152), Ryan Thomas (160), Hunter Hyden (170), Gage Braun (182), Kavan Sarver (195), Johnny Shafer (220) were all still alive in the championship bracket.
Urbana’s Lucas Chess (106), Austin Murray (113), Damion Williams (145) and Braeden Lehman (152), along with Graham’s Khrizdon VanHoose (285), were still alive in the consolation bracket.
Indians fare well in D-III
TROY – Mechanicsburg had several wrestlers advance to the semifinals of the Division III southwest district wrestling tournament on Friday.
Tyler Wetzel (126), Alex Rhine (132), Tanner Smith (145), Colt Yinger (152), Corey Bogan (160), Kaleb Romero (170) and Dylan Hartley (285) were all alive in the semifinals of the championship bracket.
Dustin Knapp (182) and Dylan Hartman (220) were alive in the consolation bracket.
Triad’s Zack Zizzo (145) was alive in the semifinals of the championship bracket.
West Liberty-Salem’s Tanner Workman (120) and Charlie Williams (160) were still alive in the consolation bracket.
