West Liberty-Salem defeated Madison Plains, 9-0, in girls soccer on Monday.
Ashley Rabenstein, Madison Bender, Taylor Lauck, Ally Smith, Kaitlyn Michael, Rachel Davis, Sierra McCall, Sophie Farquharson and Lily Yoder each scored a goal for WL-S.
Adding assists were Mikalia McIntosh (2), Smith, Yoder, McCall and Michael.
There were no saves in goal.
The Tigers (12-2) play at Troy Christian on Thursday.
WL-S wins in volleyball
West Liberty-Salem beat Madison Plains 25-16, 25-10, 25-15 in varsity volleyball on Monday.
Tory Cordell had 9 kills, 8 digs and a block, Kaylee Harrison had 9 kills and 3 digs, Alex Burton had 3 kills and 8 digs, Olivia Ames had 23 digs and Allie Yoder had 14 assists and 6 digs for the Tigers.
The Tigers’ jayvee squad won, 25-7, 25-15.
Jaelen Meeker had 5 assists, Kaitlyn Chamberlain had 2 kills, Abby Dillon had 8 digs, 2 kills and 7 aces and Kennah Erwin had 7 digs for the Tigers.
WL-S hosts Triad on Thursday.
Freshman volleyball
West Liberty-Salem split a freshman volleyball tri-match on Saturday.
The Tigers lost to Jackson Center, 25-14, 25-21. Emily Elser had 4 digs and 5 aces, Ryleigh Johns had 6 assists and Syndee Payer led the team in kills.
The Tigers beat Shawnee, 25-22, 25-22. Jaelen Meeker had 10 assists and 3 kills, Payer had 4 kills and 4 digs, Cierra Brown had 8 digs and 6 aces and Anna Kauffman had 4 digs.
JH volleyball
WL-S 7th grade volleyball lost to Fairbanks, 25-6, 25-4. Kylie Burgel and Braxton Givens each had an ace.
The team finishes the season 5-8 overall.
