Bodey named to OSU Homecoming Court

Mikayla Bodey, a 2013 graduate of Graham High School and a senior majoring in Public Affairs at The Ohio State University, is on the Ohio State Homecoming Court. The homecoming game against Rutgers takes place this weekend.

Bodey is involved in the Undergraduate Student Government, John Glenn College Civic Leadership Council, Ohio 4-H Foundation Board and the Sphinx Senior Class Honorary. She interned this past summer with the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.

Homecoming Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are conducted by OSU faculty, staff and alumni. The scores from the paper application and interview are combined with the student body vote, and the court is announced.

Court members volunteer and serve as ambassadors during Welcome Week and Homecoming Week, prior to a student body vote and announcement of the Homecoming Queen and King.
