Urbana’s jayvees lost to Graham, 25-15, 25-15.
For UHS, Jennah Adams had 12 digs, Maddy Johnson had 3 aces and Destiny Manuel had 6 digs.
THS wins in volleyball
Triad beat Northeastern in OHC volleyball, 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.
For the Cardinals, Madison Dolby had 8 points, 14 kills and 14 digs, Sydney Propst had 11 points and 11 digs and Caleigh Phelps had 19 assists.
Triad won the jayvee game, 18-25, 25-18, 25-20.
M’burg volleyball wins
Mechanicsburg defeated Madison Plains in volleyball.
Ceci Link had 20 assists, while Mary Mayo, Emma Dunham and Elly Schipfer each had 5 kills for the Indians.
Mechanicsburg improves to 6-5 overall.
WL-S wins in soccer
West Liberty-Salem defeated Bethel, 2-0, in girls soccer Tuesday.
Taylor Lauck and Dierdre McGill did the scoring for the Tigers, while Paige Shafer had 5 saves.
WL-S moves to 7-1 on the season and visits Greeneview on Thursday.
MHS wins in soccer
Mechanicsburg defeated Southeastern, 6-1, in girls soccer Tuesday.
For the Indians, Tori Jacobs had 3 goals on 12 shots on goal with an assist. Maggie Blanton also scored three times, with Kasey Schipfer having a pair of assists and Kaylin Lynch adding an assist. Morgan Hamby had 20 saves.
M’burg (6-2) plays at Fairbanks on Thursday.
UHS runners compete
Urbana competed in the Graham Invitational cross country meet on Saturday.
Daniel Westcott was 14th (19:59), Austin Rooney was 34th (21:16), Hudson Stouffer was 43rd (21:48), Ethan Burnside was 56th (22:36) and Noah Booze was 63rd (23:11). All five times were personal records for the boys.
Indians top Cardinals in golf
Mechanicsburg beat Triad, 171-199, in boys golf on Tuesday.
For M’burg, Caleb Westfall shot a 37, Corey Bogan had a 43, Jack Shoemaker a 45 and Keane Dunn a 46.
For Triad, Caleb Young had a 42, Alec Ober a 49, Austin Deere a 51 and Creighton Bradley a 57.
The OHC tournament is at Darby Creek on Thursday for both teams.
Triad girls prevail
The Triad girls golf team defeated Madison Plains in OHC golf at Woodland, 219-226. Triad (10-4 OHC) was led by Jess Woodard’s 51. Macy Linscott had a 53, Kayleigh Boldman a 55 and Kallie Smith a 60.
Tigers win in golf
West Liberty-Salem defeated Fairbanks, 158-168, in boys golf.
Max Eggleston had a 37, Dillon Callicoat a 38, Kannon Stillings a 41, Michael Frederick a 42, Tyler Gardner a 44 and Logan Brown a 51 for the Tigers.
The Tigers’ jayvees lost, 203-214.
Patrick Harr led the Tigers with a 44.
Falcons draw with Bellefontaine
Graham played Bellefontaine to a 2-2 draw in girls soccer.
Natalie Woodward scored on an assist from Greta Rembold and Taylor White put home a goal on an assist by Woodward.
The Falcons’ jayvee team won 3-2. Brooke Ohnmeiss scored a pair of goals and Payten Drewery scored.
Graham (4-3-2) plays at Benjamin Logan on Wednesday.
