Urbana High School’s Community Night for a football game earlier this season was a big success, so the school will now have Community Nights in other sports.

Any adult or child will be admitted free to the following events if they have on Urbana Spirit Wear: Volleyball – 9/20 vs Graham; Girls Soccer – 10/1 vs Southeastern; Boys Soccer – 10/12 vs Bellefontaine; Girls Basketball – 12/10 vs Bellefontaine; Boys Basketball – 12/16 vs Bellefontaine; Wrestling – 12/22 vs Xenia (HS-MS meet).

Triad falls in golf

Triad was defeated by Fairbanks, 171-179, in boys golf on Wednesday.

For the Cardinals (2-9 OHC), Alec Ober had a 40, Caleb Young a 41, Austin Deere a 48 and Creighton Bradley a 50.

Triad’s jayvees lost to Fairbanks, 203-205.

For Triad, Jacob Miller had a 46 amd Hunter Talbot added a 52.

WL-S JV soccer wins

The WL-S jayvee girls soccer team defeated Jonathan Alder, 1-0.

The goal was scored by Kaidryn Wade.

Rachel McGill had four saves in goal.

JH football

The WL-S 7th grade football team lost to Indian Lake, 18-6.

Brady Forsythe had a 10-yard rushing TD for WL-S.

Xavier Schmidt had 2 fumble recoveries and Gage Scott had an interception for the Tiger defense.

JH volleyball

The Graham 8th grade volleyball team lost to undefeated Northridge, 25-16, 25-14.

Adult softball
