
DeGRAFF – This Saturday night, Shady Bowl will honor the memory of Urbana’s Neal Sceva.
Sceva was a top driver in the tri-state area posting over 600 career feature wins. Sceva’s career was cut short when he lost his battle with cancer.
The Sceva Memorial for this season will be a 51-lap street stock main. The race will pay $1,051 to win. If 24 cars take the green, the winner’s share will increase to $1,551.
The newly formed Central Ohio Latemodel Alliance (COLA) will hold its first race.
The COLA ownership is made up of a group of drivers from Shady Bowl and other local tracks. They will compete in a 40-lap feature.
The Vintage Race Cars have also been added to the program. There will be sprint cars, midgets and coupe-bodied cars on display. They will also race in a heat race and a feature.
The modifieds, pure stocks and tuners wll also be on the schedule. It will also be a Relay for Life fund-raiser. The proceeds will benefit leukemia and lymphoma research.
Racing will start at 7 p.m.
