All-CBC boys tennis, softball teams announced


Urbana High School singles players Mklaine Eggleston, Andrew Fansler and Langston Kitchen and the doubles team of Nick Shank/Greg Coffey were each named to the All-CBC Boys Tennis Team.

Bailey Ullah/Wes Brown were named special mention.


Graham’s Madison Bryant, Allison Neeld, Melany Robbins and Morgan Rush, along with Urbana’s Emma Burnside and Katy Curnutte, were each named first team All-CBC in softball.

Urbana’s Cassidy James and Graham’s Mallory Roberts were each named special mention.

WL-S volleyball coach

West Liberty-Salem recently hired Annie Kauffman to take over the lead role of the Tigers’ volleyball program. Kauffman comes to WL-S from Bellefontaine High School where she was the junior varsity coach.

10-u baseball

Alise Photography beat Moose, 13-1.

Andrew Webb was a standout.

10-u softball

Family Stitchery defeated Bet-R-Buy Auto Sales, 20-1. Outstanding players for Family Stitchery were Emily Conley and Laney Vanhoose. Outstanding players for Bet-R-Buy were Hannah Stayrook and Lauren Turner.
