West Central presentation focuses on addiction

MARYSVILLE – The Family Program department at West Central Community Correctional Facility in Marysville will present “Understanding Addiction and Empowering the Family” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 9. This presentation is free and open to all adults. Time will be allotted to answer questions.

Those interested in attending to learn more about the disease of addiction, and hints to take care of themselves when a relative is caught up in addiction, are asked to call 937-644-2838. They may speak with Cheryl Tossey at ext. 376 or Kay Raypholtz at ext. 377 to register and for more information. Leave name and phone number if unable to reach either individual, and the call will be returned.

This is the first in a series of presentations planned in upcoming weeks. Additional topics that will be covered are:

Those who have loved ones involved in addiction, those who wish to know more about the disease of addiction, and professionals who work with this population are encouraged to attend. Due to security, this program is limited to adults only.
