Lecture follows WWII vets from deployment to home

The Champaign Aviation Museum, 1652 N. Main St., invites all to a free lecture on “The Lives of the Heavy-Bomber Crews During WWII” at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14. The talk will tell of crew members’ deployment to their return home.

The museum is the home of the Champaign Lady B-17 restoration project. People from around the country have visited Urbana to work on and to see this ongoing effort. Learn more about the museum and the restoration at www.champaiagnaviationmuseum.org

The museum is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission is free, although donations are welcome.
