MECHANICSBURG – Mechanicsburg’s Friends of the Library will host a Make It-Take It Teacup Fairy Garden activity at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, in the library’s meeting room.
Participants will turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. With a few plants, soil, moss, some rocks and a little imagination, a dainty teacup will be transformed into a unique fairy garden. These would make wonderful gifts for Mother’s Day, so you may wish to make more than one.
The cost of each fairy garden is $15 including the teacup or $10 for participants who provide their own teacups. Register by April 30 at the Mechanicsburg Public Library by calling 937-834-3495 or emailing shabumburg@gmail.com.
Small fairy garden items will be available for an additional cost.
