Cooper Johnson recently became only the second player in Urbana High School history to earn the recognition of being named All-Ohio in soccer.

Johnson, a junior, was honored as a member of the 1 percent of the 10,000 high school soccer athletes honored as All-Ohio each year.

He was selected as Most Valuable Player in the Mad River Division of the CBC and was named 1st Team All-Southwest Ohio.

As the kicker for the Hillclimber football team, Johnson recorded a 44-yard field goal that is considered a UHS record.
