Urbana Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution is participating in the national celebration of Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Month. During the month of March 1973 the last U.S. combat troops left Vietnam.

The local chapter will honor local Vietnam veterans on Monday, March 21, at 1:30 p.m. in the Post 5451/DAV Chapter 31 Hall, 220 E. Court St. in Urbana.

Veterans of the Vietnam War will be honored. Their families, other U.S. armed forces veterans and the public are invited.
