County library has lots to offer this month

Spring has sprung at the Champaign County Library with many activities planned for the coming weeks at both the Main Library location in Urbana as well as the Branch Library in North Lewisburg.

Registration is currently underway for Baby, Toddler and Preschool story time sessions at the Main Library. The first sessions begin the week of March 14 and will run through the Week of April 17.

Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to create an Easter craft at one of two sessions at the Main Library on Saturday, March 12, either 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the North Lewisburg Branch on Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m.

Join other Lego builders at the monthly Lego Club events. The North Lewisburg builders will meet Saturday, March 12, from 11 a.m. to noon, and the Main Library builders will meet Monday, March 28, at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a Family Fun Night on Monday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the North Lewisburg Branch and also Monday, March 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library in Urbana. Enjoy stories, games, activities, crafts and snacks.

The ever popular Family Movie Nights continue on Friday, March 25, at the Main Library and Saturday, March 26, at the North Lewisburg Branch. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. at both locations with the movie Peanuts beginning at 6 p.m.

Looking for something to do with the kids during Spring Break? The Main Library will have a No School Game Day on Monday, March 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Enjoy the day off from school with board games, button making crafts, and snacks.
