For the Falcons (2-4, 1-2), Taylor Gibson and Sarah Henry each had 10 points and Kari Smith added 7.

Graham won the jayvee game, 37-27.

UHS bowlers sweep Tipp

Urbana beat Tipp, 2,892-2,696, in CBC boys bowling on Thursday.

For the Hillclimbers (6-0), Luc Russell had a 230-212, Blaine Arms a 190-205, Kyle Schrader a 226-192, Skyler Reisinger a 182-227 and Kyle Beavers a 227-200.

The Urbana girls prevailed, 2,272-1,764.

For the Hillclimbers (1-4), Kayla Evans had a 191-200, Paige Stokes a 244 and Olivia Krieger a 194.

M’burg sweeps WL-S

Mechanicsburg defeated West Liberty-Salem, 2,656-1,589, in girls bowling.

For the Indians, Ally Hosier had a 257-216/473 series, Lauren Mayberry had a 417, Katie Bush had a 382, Michaela Edwards added a 340, Jenna Alspaugh had a 145 game and Miranda Keene had a 128 game.

For the Tigers, Erica McCall had a 143-202, Rachel Larson a 110-98, Olivia Jacquemart a 102-88, Taylor Loverde a 93- 97 and Hailee Clifford a 108-77.

The MHS jayvee girls won 2,111-1,055.

Mechanicsburg won the boys match, 2,680-2,177.

For the Indians, David McMahill had a 192, Preston Estep a 151, Jake Ripley a 247, Caleb Westfall a 216, Cody Minor a 223 and Ross Parsons a 201.

For WL-S, Treven Marchal had a 219, Brad Burt a 180, Justin Salyers a 222, Troyes Hostetler a 128 and Reese Shafer a 179.

Junior high basketball

The WL-S 8th grade boys basketball team lost to Miami View, 47-34. The Tigers (3-1, 2-1) were led by Ethan Cole and Jack Eggleston with 8 points each.

The WL-S 7th grade boys won, 45-3. Nick Burden led the Tigers with 10 points and Kaden Burk added 9.

The WL-S 7th grade girls beat Miami View, 31-11. Anna McGill had 8 points and Selena Weaver had 8 points and 8 rebounds.

The WL-S 8th grade girls won, 31-20. Alex Burton had 7 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers.
