TIPP CITY – Tipp knocked off Graham, 68-38, in CBC girls basketball.

For the Falcons (2-2), Taylor Gibson had 10 points and Kari Smith added 7.

Tipp won the jayvee game, 59-14.

Urbana bowlers 3-0

The Urbana boys bowling team won a tri-match on Thursday.

UHS had a 2,957, Troy had a 2,658 and Mechanicsburg a 2,446.

For the Hillclimbers (3-0), Luc Russell had a 243-208, Blaine Arms a 203-240, Kyle Schrader a 216-201, Skyler Reisinger a 203-205 and Kyle Beavers a 201-197.

Troy won the girls tri-match with a 2,754.

Mechanicsburg had a 2,537 and Urbana a 2,321.

For the Hillclimbers (0-3), Paige Stokes had a 202-176, Brittany Gaver a 232 and Kayla Evans a 173.

Mechanicsburg results were not reported.

Junior high basketball

The Urbana 7th grade boys lost to Tipp, 48-15.

Wyatt Teets had 7 points for UJHS.

Tipp won the 8th grade game, 35-30.

Grant Hower had 10 points for Urbana.

The Urbana 7th grade girls lost, 56-2, and the 8th grade girls lost, 76-8.

The WL-S boys 8th grade team beat Cedarville, 56-32. Trevor Woodruff led the Tigers with 16 points and Ethan Larson had 10.

The WL-S 7th grade boys beat Cedarville, 39-15. Nick Burden led the Tigers with 11 points while Kaden Burk added 7.

Graham’s 7th grade girls lost to Tecumseh, 32-17.

Lexi King had 13 points for Graham.
