Graham wrestlers sign letters of intent

ST. PARIS – Five Graham seniors recently signed letters of intent to wrestle in college.

Mario Kastl chose to continue his education at the United States Air Force Academy. Kastl has a third place finish at the state championships to his name and has earned Academic All-Ohio, as well as finishing third at the National High School championships. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Students Making a Difference, Freshman Focus and serves as a student aide for special education. He’s also on the Honor Roll.

Brent Moore chose to continue his education at Virginia Tech. Moore has three top-three finishes at the state championships, including a title. He is also a Flonationals champion.

Alex Marinelli has selected Iowa to continue his career. Marinelli is a three-time state champion and the prohibitive favorite to win his fourth title this season.

Garrett Jordan signed with South Dakota State. He has a third-place finish at the state championships to his credit. He’s also a member of the FFA and the Honor Roll, as well as a student aide for special education.

Brandon Hayes signed with Ashland. Hayes is a district qualifier and a member of the Honor Roll.
