NEW CARLISLE – Graham defeated Chaminade-Julienne, 25-14, 25-13, 25-14, on Thursday to advance to the sectional volleyball final on Monday at 6 p.m. at Tecumseh High School.

For the Falcons, Lisa DeWeese had 13 kills, Carly Carafa had 11 kills and 1 block and Caitlin Trace had 11 kills and 3 blocks.

WL-S advances in soccer

West Liberty-Salem defeated Botkins, 3-0, in the girls soccer sectional.

Goals for WL-S were scored by Gabby Hollar (2) and Dierdre McGill.

Assists for WL-S were by Madison Oelker (2) and Ashley Rabenstein.

Paige Shafer had 4 saves in goal, and one was a penalty kick.

The Tigers (16-1) play again on Monday at 7 p.m. at Kettering Fairmont.
