Youths between the ages of 8 and 17 are invited to the Champaign Aviation Museum at Urbana’s Grimes Field on Saturday, Oct. 24, for free flights with local licensed pilot-members of the Experimental Aircraft Association, which has as one of its goals to introduce young people to the world of flight.
Weather permitting, the 15- to 20-minute flights will occur between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Flights will be on a first come-first served basis.
