Triad pounds Cedarville, 39-7; Graham falls

NORTH LEWISBURG – Trent McIntyre tossed three touchdown passes as Triad defeated Cedarville, 39-7, Friday night in OHC football.

A pair of McIntyre TD passes helped the Cardinals jump out to a 19-0 lead by halftime.

Triad held the Indians to minus-2 yards rushing on 20 carries in the first half.

A McIntyre six-yard scoring run early in the third period gave the Cardinals a 26-0 lead.

A few minutes later, McIntyre connected with Cam Atchison on a 25-yard TD pass to give the home team a 33-0 lead.

Overall, McIntyre completed 8 of 16 pass attempts for 142 yards.

Triad had 296 total yards compared to 149 for Cedarville (1-5, 0-3)

The Cardinals (2-4, 1-2) play at Southeastern next Friday night.

Indian Lake 43, Graham 0

ST. PARIS – Indian Lake knocked off Graham, 43-0, Friday night in CBC/MRD football.

The Lakers (4-2, 1-0) moved out to a 13-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, and the visitors led, 27-0, at the half.

Indian Lake owned a 37-0 lead after three periods.

The Falcons (1-5, 0-1) play at Greenon next Friday night.
