The Ohio State Buckeyes would seem to be in a perfect position to win another national championship in football this season, but repeating is never easy.

OSU is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball.

And while most teams are lucky to have one competent quarterback, the Buckeyes have two standouts on their roster – actually, three if you count Braxton Miller.

The trick for OSU Coach Urban Meyer will be finding a way to juggle the lineup so that quarterbacks J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones both get in a lot of snaps.

Miller will apparently be used as a sort of wing back or receiver.

Splitting playing time between two QBs can lead to problems, but Barrett and Jones are both so good that it will be almost impossible not to play both based on game situations.

Being the defending champs also places a huge bull’s eye on the Buckeyes’ backs.

Every opponent will be gunning for OSU, although the easy non-league schedule after the opener with Virginia Tech Monday night means the Buckeyes will likely be undefeated heading into the Big Ten slate.

The toughest contests will probably be at home with Michigan State on Nov. 21 and at Michigan the following week.

The 1969 Buckeyes were undefeated and cruising toward their second straight national title when they stumbled at Michigan, 24-12, in the final game of the regular season.
