WEST LIBERTY – Green Hills Community in West Liberty will host a combined book fair and blood drive from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, in the Community Center, 6557 S. U.S. Route 68.
Everyone who registers to donate blood for the Community Blood Center will receive a free gift. Donors also receive a meal after donating to make sure they replenish their body with lost fluids and regain blood sugar.

At the same time, browse a selection of about 150 new, straight from the publisher, books and gift items about 35 percent off retail price during the Books Are Fun book fair. A portion of the sales benefit DayBreak adult day services program at Green Hills. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
